Nikki Mitropoulas never imagined losing her young husband in a horrific motorcycle accident. Being 8 months pregnant at the time, she faced the reality that her son would never know his father. Her son Danny was born just days after his father, Daniel passed away.

Nikki spent the next several years raising her son.

By chance one night while having drinks with friends, they saw an ad for appearing on a dating show and they all applied on the spot!

Producers called Nikki the next day and she was chosen to be on the show, The Single Wives. This proved to be life-changing for Nikki, who had been living a life of fear and pain and grief.
